This is the COOLEST collection of literature. It's huge and a pain to carry effectually but it's then good! It has a ton of great things and tons of infinite to write notes in the margins. My only problem was that the pages were kind of delicate and I thought I could easily rip them but other than that, not a single complain. It has all of Village and Othello! Information technology is huge!! =) This is the COOLEST collection of literature. Information technology'south huge and a hurting to carry around but information technology's so proficient! Information technology has a ton of slap-up things and tons of space to write notes in the margins. I found this to be a great anthology and an insightful textbook. It seems to alternating betwixt those modes. In any case, I'd admittedly recommend this for a cover-to-cover reading, as unappealing as that seems at first glance. Yes, it's quite thick. (So thick, in fact, that the pages are bible-esque in their thickness and experience.) But information technology'due south worth information technology. I found this to be a great anthology and an insightful textbook. Information technology seems to alternating between those modes. In whatever case, I'd absolutely recommend this for a cover-to-cover reading, equally unappealing as that seems at starting time glance. Yes, information technology's quite thick. I don't know that I will e'er end reading this book - it'south over 2000 pages. It was a book required for a literature form and is a smashing resources for and so many writers and all genres. The writers/poets/playwrights I have enjoyed the most are Sherman Alexie, Alice Walker, Lorraine Hansberry, Kate Chopin, Franz Kafka, Theodore Roethke, and Langston Hughes I don't know that I will e'er finish reading this volume - it's over 2000 pages. Information technology was a book required for a literature class and is a great resource for so many writers and all genres. I am a glutton for textbook literature compilations. What more could you ask for? All of the greats in one HUGE volume. Hawthorne, Frost, Mansfield.... ahhhh, I am in Bookworm Sky!!!
Robert DiYanni is an adjunct professor of humanities and an instructional consultant at the Middle for the Advancement of Instruction at New York University. In these capacities he teaches courses on disquisitional thinking, interdisciplinary humanities, commerce and culture, and business and its publics, and conducts workshops and consultations with faculty throughout the university on aspects of pedagogi Robert DiYanni is an adjunct professor of humanities and an instructional consultant at the Center for the Advocacy of Teaching at New York University. In these capacities he teaches courses on critical thinking, interdisciplinary humanities, commerce and culture, and business organisation and its publics, and conducts workshops and consultations with faculty throughout the university on aspects of pedagogical practice. Before coming to NYU, Dr. DiYanni taught at Queens College and Step University and as a visiting professor at Harvard.
